Our school was the first school to open under the Commit to Graduate plan. When students commit to graduate they receive a t-shirt, wristband, and sign a banner making a promise not only to the school, but to themselves to walk across the stage their senior year. It is the model school for the western United States according to the FISD website. The staff works with parents to get them involved in their student’s high school journey, every day teachers show they are dedicated to helping their students go far in life, and Mr. Mimms always promotes 100% class graduation, even if it means at a later date. So let’s get fired up and learn what it really means to be committed to graduate.
