The end of the marking period can be busy and each student has different experiences that may have made their marking period a bit harder than others. This can include academic struggles, issues at home or the loss of a loved one. CNTV’s Katelyn Mimms touches on the topic of grief and gives us insight into how it affects some students at Heritage.

Katelyn Mimms, Lead Content Producer
Katelyn Mimms is a senior at Heritage High School and the lead producer of Coyote Nation TV. Her biggest accomplishment was being a part of the team that won “best outstanding achievement” at the Student Television Network California broadcast competition in 2023. Her inspiration that motivates her to be a hard worker is her sister Kristen and her faith in God. Outside of school, Katelyn likes to listen to different types of music and spend her free time reading. Katelyn hopes to represent her peers through storytelling and grow within her broadcast team, by being diligent and engaged.
