Through hard times, one thing that may help students is a positive environment. Along with the resources counselors offer, other students are also working towards making sure students have a safe space on campus. Senior Gabi Diaz is Coyote Nation TV’s Lead Content Producer and joined the team because of her interest in video production and the storytelling aspect of journalism. She loves the opportunity that Coyote Nation TV offers her to make strong friendships with her team, connect with the Heritage community, and tell meaningful stories. Throughout her broadcast journey, Gabi has won awards from Association of Texas Photography Instructors (ATPI) and Texas Association of Journalism Educators (TAJE) for her projects. Along with these achievements, Gabi is excited for this upcoming school year and what it has to offer.
