Get up and go
Preparing for college can be a very stressful part of the high school process.
Luckily, we have a program that helps us through the whole timeline of the tests and applications.
The Go Center, located in A128, has students from Texas Women’s University that come to campus at least once a month to help with everything associated with college.
“We just want students to have a plan after high school. Even if they plan on going into any type of military or if they wanted to start off at a community college,” said Daniel Rodriguez, a G-Force Ambassador.
The Go Center helps all students but they call all juniors down to register for tests such as the ACT and SAT to help them start the application process as early as possible.
“We are there to help whether it’s ACT or SAT registration or FAFSA or TASFA. We are there from start to finish to help with the whole process to get to a higher education,” said Genesis Trigueros, a G Force Ambassador.
If you are already studying and making good grades, the Go Center can help you take the next step toward your future.
The Go Center is open every other Thursday from 8:30-11:30 a.m.
You can sign up to use the Go Center on the counselor’s website.
