On one colorful bright spring morning, there was a little 4th grade student named Adrian waiting for his first soccer match. This would be his first time playing on a team, that he joined because he always watched his cousin play and thought it would be a fun experience. It was on this day he realized something, something that would change his life without even knowing it was a possibility.

This is what register in his mind:

He realized that while on the light green field kicking the ball and chasing after it over and over again, was one of the most fun and exciting things he has ever done.

He realized he wasn’t that good at the sport yet he still found joy from participating. So he wanted to keep on practicing to better himself at this new found activity.

He realized he enjoyed the adrenaline rush he would get during and after the games. The energy shot he would, as if he drank ten cups of coffe, and his heart beating at 100,000 mph.

He realized that he likes the physical challenge the sport demanded.

Lastly, he realized that this might be something he wants to pursue as a career.

And ever since that special day, the boy has been constantly practicing and training his favorite sport for 9 years and counting. The sport that completely change his daily routines from coming back from school on friday being bored out of his mind, rarely going outside, and playing video games all day.

To coming home from school on a Friday and immediately slapping on cleats and going outside with his soccer ball, and rarely playing video games simply because now he didn’t have the time to waste.
Because after that one day most of his life revolved around soccer. Most of his accomplishments were either about soccer or because of soccer. Because to him, that’s all that matters.
