Sumit Nalavade, Producer/Reporter
Sumit Nalavade’s interest in creating started in 7th-grade multimedia at Roach Middle School. From that year on, TV Broadcast would significantly impact his life, as he spends three years as a part of the staff leading up to senior year. Sumit enjoys using resources given to him in this class to create in-depth stories. Outside of school, he uses his skills by attending coding competitions. This recent year, Sumit and his team won one of these contests coding an app that can identify COVID-19 vaccines anywhere in the world. After graduation, he hopes to use his knowledge to apply to colleges such as the University of Texas or Texas Agricultural and Mechanical College, also known as Texas A&M.
