Career fair inspires Coyotes

At the end of every year, we say goodbye to Coyotes who have already decided what their future will look like.

For many, however, looking to the future is stressful.

Heritage held a career fair this year to show students the possibilities they have,

“It’d be a great time to figure out what college, what school you want to study, what career you might want to go into,” sophomore Abel Phillips said.

All week students had the chance to attend the fair and learn about careers and universities that could soon receive their application.

Representatives from all around Texas were able to provide a one-on-one experience to those who had questions that went beyond their school’s website.

“They just want to show you the benefits of going to their school [and] what you can gain from going there,” Phillips said.

Teachers who allowed students to speak with representatives at the fair found the experience was helpful.

“This [was] a great opportunity for students to explore potential careers either in the military, or [I saw] representation from beauty colleges… as well as full universities,” said Linda Leser, a teacher.

The career fair was a busy week and hopefully helped Coyotes on deciding which path to take.
