Programs like the National Honor Society recognize their members for their leadership, service, and academics. But lately, some students have started to question whether everyone is truly meeting the service part of the organization’s mission. CNTV’s Kaelyn Johnson talked to the NHS officers who opened up about their concerns surrounding volunteer hours.

Kaelyn Johnson, Social & Service Chair
Senior Kaelyn Johnson is in her second year with Coyote Nation TV. She is the Social chair this year, and she hopes to contribute to the team by fostering open communication and creating an environment where everyone feels valued and respected. Known for her thoughtful leadership and positive energy, Kaelyn plays a key role in strengthening the team. Outside the newsroom, she spends her time improving her coding skills as she is very passionate about programing and gaming. She plans to continue her education after high school at a community college and work towards her goal of getting a bachelors in computer science.
