Students to face new campus COVID procedures
When people return on Sept. 3, the school will look different because of the pandemic.

Student reporters got a tour of the school this Friday ahead of its reopening for face-to-face instruction. Those who are returning to campus on September 3 can expect a variety of changes ranging from traffic flow patterns to new lunch procedures. These new processes have been carefully designed by the Heritage administration team in an effort to maintain student safety while still providing a substantive learning environment.
The cafeteria tables from last school year are no more. Instead, when students eat lunch, they will be seated only 2 to a table, 6 feet apart. But that's not the only way lunches have changed., “So, the first thing you need to know, that you want to know that's different is that there are five lunches now,” assistant principal Kelvin Newsome said. You read that right: not only will there be new seating and interesting lunch lines but 5 lunches, 20 minutes each.
