Heritage Student Media is a journalism curriculum-based club at Heritage High School made up of CoyoteNationTV (weekly broadcast), The Tribute (yearbook), The Print (quarterly newsmagazine), HeritageStudentMedia.com (news site), and various social media accounts. HSM operates with a limited annual budget of about $4,000. All of that money funds camera or technology equipment and some student participation in contests. The budget does not include enough funds for printing publications and student travel to state and national conventions. Therefore, we rely on generous community sponsors for donations, and in return, we connect sponsors with a student audience.
