If you’re on social media, you must have noticed that vintage clothes are making a comeback. To keep up with the latest trends, thrift shopping is an affordable choice.

There are multiple thrift shops in the Frisco area where you can find vintage, name brand and trendy clothes. You can go to Goodwill, Frisco Resale, or Thrift Plaza. It is a solution to save money, especially with the holiday season right around the corner.

“I went to Plaza Thrift Store in McKinney,” freshman Sanskriti Jha said.  “There was brands like Tommy Hilfiger, American Eagle, Nautica, and Calvin Klein.”

Even though the retail price of these brands can be pricey, thrift shops offer these clothes for affordable and convenient prices.

The price range is “99 cents to $10,” Jha said.

Before you shop, it’s important to make sure that the clothes are in good condition.

“The clothes are good quality,” Jha said.  “All it needs is one wash and it’s ready to go. I didn’t see any stains on the clothes either.”

If your style is more casual, then it won’t be hard to find a vintage band t-shirt or name brand tee.

According to Verily, “thrift stores typically have more t-shirts from the 2000s.”

Although, if you’re looking for something more dressy than casual, there is a wide selection of blouses, dresses, and button-downs.

According to Verily, “at the thrift store, you can find Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger button-downs for $2 within seconds.”

At thrift shops, you can find different styles of clothes and explore your options. If you’re trying to change your style, thrift shopping is the way to do it. You can get 20 articles of clothing for $50 and under.

“If you want to find some vintage items, thrift shopping would be a great alternative especially if you don’t have as much money,” Jha said.
